Danielle and Marius – Philadelphia Art Museum Engagement

This was a relaxing and fun engagement session behind the Philadelphia Art Museum. Danielle and Marius were a pleasure to work with and we had a blast scoping out the many gems in the area. They really rocked it on this shoot and Oh! that warm glow of the sun just made it all the more magical. These two will wed in beautiful PUERTO RICO next year! So exciting!!! Best of luck you two and enjoy these photo memories!Dan_Mar1 Dan_Mar2 Dan_Mar3 Dan_Mar4 Dan_Mar5 Dan_Mar6 Dan_Mar7 Dan_Mar8 Dan_Mar9 Dan_Mar10 Dan_Mar11 Dan_Mar12 Dan_Mar13 Dan_Mar14 Dan_Mar15 Dan_Mar16 Dan_Mar17 Dan_Mar18 Dan_Mar19 Dan_Mar20 Dan_Mar21 Dan_Mar22 Dan_Mar23

Katie and Greg – Historic Chester Springs Wedding

The fall is the best time of year to have a wedding. Hands down! There’s something about that glowing sunlight and the warm orange tones that just make it feel so right. But Katie and Greg didn’t need the season to make this the perfect wedding. Kate and I took a few classes together back in the day at Tyler School of Art, so I could already attest to her creativity. I knew she would come through with some absolutely stunning decorations (which she did!). She hand carved the pumpkin below and had some adorable air plants as wedding favors and even pulled some of the flowers from her own garden. Needless to say, this wedding was absolutely gorgeous! What’s more? This wedding was sooo fun! Katie and Greg are a fun loving couple and clearly wanted that reflected on their big day. There was dancing galore, sparklers, and night time hula-hooping in the courtyard. Not to mention, we took some amazing photographs. Enjoy!

P.S. I shot Katie and Greg’s engagement photos in 2013 and we had a blast frolicking through the woods of Hibernia Park. Check them out!

Caroline and Michael – Centre Bridge Inn Wedding

After photographing Caroline and Michael’s engagement session last year, I knew their wedding was going to be amazing. They have such great chemistry and were so comfortable in front of the lens that I knew this time would be no different. We started the day at the Morrisville Presbyterian Church in Morrisville, PA where the ceremony was held. Caroline looked absolutely stunning as she was getting ready so we snapped lots of pictures before hand and even had some fun playing with her veil in the wind. The ceremony itself was bright and happy. Caroline and Michael were married by Caroline’s quite humorous brother, adding to the ease, peacefulness, and beauty of the ceremony. Afterwards we had a BANGIN’ portrait session in the church’s quaint yet bountiful memorial garden. Here, again, is when Caroline and Michael’s comfort and ease in each other’s arms really shined. The light was right, and so were their spirits and it definitely shows. I couldn’t have asked for a better portrait session! We all then made our way to the Centre Bridge Inn in New Hope, PA for the reception. Caroline DIY-ed all of the decorations for the reception, she even made her own bouquets. The result? A comfy, cosy, and elegant cabin feel perfect for the fall.  The feel was calm and cozy, but the energy was anything but. The party was on and everyone danced the night away with big smiles and open hearts. Congratulations Caroline and Michael, now begins the happiest time in your life!carmike_1 carmike_2 carmike_3 carmike_4 carmike_5 carmike_6 carmike_7 carmike_8 carmike_9 carmike_10 carmike_11 carmike_12 carmike_13 carmike_14 carmike_15 carmike_16 carmike_17 carmike_18 carmike_19 carmike_20 carmike_21 carmike_22 carmike_23 carmike_24 carmike_25 carmike_26 carmike_27 carmike_28 carmike_29 carmike_30 carmike_31 carmike_32 carmike_33 carmike_34 carmike_35 carmike_36

Kim and Mike – Proposal in Washington Sqaure

Sweethearts Kim and Mike are extremely adorable and I was honored to capture such a special moment for them.  It was early in the morning and I was photographing “the park” when these two walked up and had a seat on the bench. Thinking that they were just waiting to go to breakfast with a friend, Kim was shocked as Mike dropped down to one knee. The expression on here face says it all. Luckily, she was so caught up in the moment that she didn’t even realize that I was getting closer and closer to get these pictures allowing the true happiness of the moment to shine through. We then walked around the square taking these lovely images of the soon-to-be-wed pair. Seeing this intimate moment and having the opportunity to capture it for all of time reminds me of just how wonderful my job really is. Thank you Kim and Mike for this beautiful shoot and congratulations on your engagement!

Elizabeth and David – Wedding at The Racquet Club of Philadelphia

Elizabeth came to me quite relaxed and willing to let me express my creativity by capturing her and her new husband on their very special day. Her trust in me as an artist and photographer coupled with the gorgeous rooms of the Racquet Club of Philadelphia and some very happy people allowed not only for these beautiful photos below, but also for quite a shindig of a wedding. Elizabeth and David are a very fun loving couple and that was magnified enormously in the many smiling faces of this very fun and elegant wedding. Enjoy this little glimpse of the newlywed’s magnificent day!

Katie and Greg – Engagement at Hibernia Park

I had a blast photographing Katie and Greg at Hibernia Park. We caught the leaves just after they had changed and I think the beautiful colors here speak for themselves. Everything at this park, even the couple, was picture perfect. We even caught  the glowing “golden light” sun. We trekked a great area catching many of the unique areas of the park. It was quite adventurous and I lost a shoe! But, it was well worth it to capture the love between these two young souls. Congrats you two and I hope you adore your pictures!

Sara and Kirk – Center City Engagement

Sara and Kirk were a really fun couple to photograph. Both originally from Minnesota, these two plan on wedding there next year. This was a traveling shoot throughout Center City and ending with a drink and some darts at The Bards. So with the scenery constantly changing we were able to get a very dynamic range of photographs, not to mention these two are modeling pros! What’s even more, they brought along their locally known dog, Sota(named after their home state and known as Sunflower to those in the neighborhood), making this shoot just oh so adorable. I hope you enjoy these highlights from their shoot and congratulations to the soon-to-be-wed couple!

Caroline and Michael – Washington Crossing State Park Engagement

These two were so sweet and a pleasure to photograph. We happened to meet up on the most gorgeous fall weekend and Caroline and Michael were so comfortable in front of the lens that this photo shoot was a breeze. You can just tell, when everything is so perfect that there is something right going on here. Maybe it’s in Caroline’s gleaming smile, in Michael’s gentle embrace of his fiance,  or in the couple’s constant laughter. Wherever it comes from, you can see it. These two are truly, and deeply in love. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next year and to see how they have grown together.

Enjoy this little glimpse of their “soon- to-be-married” world!

Engagement – Amanda and Joe – Tyler State Park

I had a blast photographing this couple! Amanda and Joe are two of the giggliest people I have ever met. Laughing and joking throughout the whole shoot I could just tell that these two know how to have fun and that they truly enjoy each other’s company. It is as clear as day when you are around Amanda and Joe that they truly love each other and it was perhaps mere coincidence that we also had this beautiful, clear, sunny day to capture their love. What’s more, it is already flattering for a couple to come to me for their engagement shoot, but it is all the more flattering when asked by a fellow photographer. Amanda is a photographer herself and I was overjoyed when she asked me to photograph her and Joe. Check out Amanda’s photography here!

Enjoy these photographs of young love birds, Amanda and Joe.
